Skyrim came out more than a year ago and, while the stunning RPG impressed many gamers, it was affected by plenty of errors across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 3. As a result, developer Bethesda released lots of updates and patches for the game, in order to resolve bug fixes and add support for expansions like the most recent Dragonborn one. Now, Bethesda has confirmed that Skyrim PC owners can download the beta version of update 1. Steam service. PS3 and Xbox 3. Bethesda also posted the official list of changes included in Skyrim update 1. Skyrim Patch 1. 9. Released - General Discussion. So, am I hallucinating, or does 1. Ancient Knowledge perk even more than it was broken already..?
Previously you would get a 1. Smithing skill, and a 2. It appears that, now, you will get a 1.
W. T. F. I mean, I fixed this over a year ago (before the Creation Kit was released, in fact) and it's been in the patch for ages. How hard can it be to just copy it over? At any rate I recommend someone confirm this and if I'm correct we just keep it as- is in the USKP. I can't say for sure until I see the updated script but looking at the new properties I'm pretty sure I know what they did and if so the current fix will overwrite it.
Or, maybe I'm hallucinating. I kind of hope I'm hallucinating. Quick playtest confirms this. The rating on all my armor went up when I added the perk from the console, except for Dwarven which remained the same.
